    Welcome to the Brick Cafe Bed and Breakfast. Here you will find ease and comfort in the historic district of Saugerties. This historic building lies only five minutes from Woodstock, fifteen minutes from Hunter, and is a leisurely 2 hour drive from New York City. 
    Built in 1823, our 3 story Brick Federal with Dutch influence, was the original home of Entrepreneur Legrand B. Davidson. Owner of the Ulster Baking Company. Mr. Davidson specialized in Cakes, Crackers, and Biscuits. His delicacies were sold throughout the surrounding counties and traveled as far south as New York City markets.
   Lovingly restored and tastefully appointed with antique accents, we feel Legrand and his wife Abigail would be pleased with our restoration efforts, and would feel right at home in our Bed and Breakfast- As we are sure you will too!
   Owned and operated by a Culinary Institute of America graduate and an Elementary school teacher.
